It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. It was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity. It was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness. It was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair…
For many, 2019 felt like the introduction to Charles Dickens’ classic A Tale of Two Cities. As we stand on the precipice of 2020, we look back and reflect on some of the bigger stories and themes of the year.
The new film Dark Waters stars a convincing Mark Ruffalo as a tenacious attorney who uncovers a secret connecting a growing number of unexplained deaths to one of the world’s largest corporations.
While the Hollywood adaptation of environmental attorney Robert Bilott’s righteous crusade plays out on the big screen, a real life attorney echoed Ruffalo’s on-screen courtroom drama in early 2019.
But this lawyer deposed the father of vaccine science: Dr. Stanley Plotkin. Who is Stanley Plotkin?
Who is Dr. Plotkin? In a 2013 poll of the Top 50 “most influential people in vaccines,” Dr. Plotkin was voted number two, behind only Bill Gates. Gates calls Plotkin’s book Vaccines “a bible for vaccinologists” to which Plotkin, a self-proclaimed atheist, publicly boasted “I hope it is more accurate than the bible.” He has also served as a consultant and directly developer on several vaccines currently recommended by the CDC.
You may consider that blasphemy or not. But if we move from faith to business ethics, it’s worth noting there is a serious disconnect between Plotkin serving as a consultant and hands-on developer of several vaccines that are currently recommended by the CDC, and putting money in his pocket every time one is injected.
Plotkin’s admissions under oath proved for the first time on video that vaccine science propaganda told to the public is much different than vaccine science under oath. Expect a greater public awareness and distaste to the lengths vaccine makers are catered to legally, legislatively, monetarily and scientifically to be a point of contention among the mainstream consciousness.

EXPOSED: WORLD RENOWNED VACCINE SCIENTIST’S SHOCKING LEGAL DEPOSITION NOW PUBLIC
Two separate but related events served as uncomfortable bookends for the public in 2019. First, the zeitgeist shifted, as the public demand for better science addressing inconvenient truths became a mainstream talking point. Unanswered questions lingered, a public debate was requested multiple times…and the vaccine injury deniers, doctors and regulatory agency spokespeople fell silent and avoided it—time and time again.
The deafening silence to openly debate basic questions concerning vaccine safety was juxtaposed with a full push of authoritarian legislation. In 2019, there were more than 100 bills aimed at removing barriers stopping vaccine product lines from being injected into every American.
As some in government raced to remove freedoms, social media, Google, Amazon, Mailchimp and others implemented digital censorship regimes aimed at choking off discussion and open debate – an act they labeled as misinformation.
In 2015, National Vaccine Information Center co-founder Barbara Loe Fisher coined the coming push the vaccine culture wars. She was a prophet of sorts.
In 2019, that push met a shove back, as conflict over vaccines erupted and spilled into America’s streets. Mass protest and medical civil disobedience was seen at State Capitols in California, Oregon, Colorado, Maine, New York, New Jersey and several others where aggressive vaccine legislation was being rammed through.
Citizens had enough. Their frustration was visible, as peaceful demonstrations appeared despite last minute changes to hearings and rushed legislative processes attempting to throw off the People’s pushback.
In California, where SB 276 would eventually be rammed through ‘in the dead of night’ as one senator put it, America saw the first arrests of mothers and grandmothers protesting to save their medical freedom.
Not unexpectedly, corporate media was silent and nearly blacked out coverage. When it was covered, the corporate media hit all their dog-and-pony Big Pharma talking points.
Expect 2020 to be the most active year to date with corporate media trumpeting a new wave of vaccine legislation, in turn triggering an even larger public response in opposition.
Meanwhile, in New Jersey, a victory going into the December holiday season supercharged a growing movement as residents caused a bill to be shelved that would have eliminated their religious exemptions [freedom] to vaccinations. Legislators have pledged to give in one more shot in January, but momentum is against them.
Big Pharma’s ‘do no wrong’ public perception halo was ripped off and sullied by a series of serious opioid-related revelations and legal decisions in 2019.
Rivaling the downfall of Big Tobacco, opioid kingpins are beginning to realize there is no way out from shouldering the legal and social blame for years of aggressive marketing, skirting safety science and abusive behavior towards the public.
In October, a landmark $572 million judgement against Johnson and Johnson triggered a torrent of PR stunts and legal maneuvers from opioid makers, hoping to head off a showdown in Ohio.
Experts thought this would be the Big Tobacco moment for the opioid industry and its leading companies. But several manufacturers were able to settle before they went to court.
And the big news of the day was Purdue Pharma, maker of the notorious OxyContin painkiller, filed for bankruptcy. The battle is still waging across states for justice from a mixed bag of opioid manufacturers, distributors and pharmacy chains which is pouring into 2020. Expect more shocking headlines and internal emails revealing a profits over people motus operndi.
