A Look Back at the War on “Miracle Drug” Ivermectin

Over three years ago, humanity was locked down and deemed a prisoner of the COVID-19 pandemic. Governments and the Big Pharma-controlled mainstream media repeatedly declared that the warp-speed mRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” were the shiny key that would finally unlock the tyranny and set people free. Those same deep-state pawns spent laser-focused energy discrediting and canceling seasoned medical experts suggesting existing drugs be used to treat SARS-CoV-2. The most suspicious part being it didn’t matter if these drugs were successful in combating COVID-19. One such drug is Ivermectin. Listed by the corrupt World Health Organization (WHO) as an “essential medicine,” the “wonder drug” Ivermectin was assaulted viciously.

Ivermectin’s journey began in 1973 with the discovery in Japan of unique soil-dwelling microorganisms called avermectins, from which Ivermectin is derived. In 1975, Merck laboratories discovered that avermectins produce a potent parasite-destroying substance. The “more effective” Ivermectin—a purified, chemically modified bioactive agent of avermectin—was confirmed powerful in human health in 1987. As time passed, Ivermectin, which won a Nobel prize in 2015, was introduced to treat other human conditions, leading many experts to label it a “wonder drug.” And the National Institutes of Health (NIH) agreed. In 2011, the agency published a study titled “Ivermectin, ‘Wonder drug’ from Japan: the human use perspective.” The study concluded that, along with penicillin and aspirin, Ivermectin is a drug that can unmistakably be labeled a “wonder drug.”

With that in mind, as the pandemic held the planet hostage, several well-respected doctors, including President of Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance President Dr. Pierre Kory, put their patient’s needs first and began prescribing Ivermectin to treat COVID-19. After all, throughout history, repurposing drugs has been an effective strategy in medicine, and Ivermectin has a proven track record. For example, a peer-reviewed study last year determined that regular use of Ivermectin as a prophylaxis for COVID-19 led up to a 92 percent reduction in COVID-19 deaths. Meanwhile, the study concluded that the non-use of Ivermectin was associated with a seven-fold increased risk of dying from COVID-19 compared to the regular use of Ivermectin. Nonetheless, U.S. government agencies turned a blind eye, and immediately, Ivermectin was dubbed a dangerous horse dewormer and vilified by the U.S. government and the Pfizer-funded media. Yet, as noted by Kory in his new book, “War on Ivermectin: The Medicine that Saved Millions and Could Have Ended the Pandemic,” entire countries effectively wiped out the virus with Ivermectin. Moreover, nearly 100 studies now demonstrate Ivermectin’s undeniable effectiveness in preventing and treating COVID-19.

Undoubtedly, the inexpensive drug directly threatened the emergency use authorization (EUA) used to push the DARPA-funded gene-damaging COVID jabs, and its existence jeopardized a $200 billion vaccine enterprise. As highlighted by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the EUA statute states that an emergency use authorization cannot be issued for a vaccine if an existing medication has been approved for any purpose and has shown to be effective against the target illness.

Given the unprecedented government overreach displayed by the Biden administration during the pandemic—and the revolving door between U.S. government regulatory agencies and the pharmaceutical industry—the massive corruption shared for years by truth pioneers like Del Bigtree becomes unmistakable. As host of The HighWire and CEO of the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), Bigtree shared his well-founded insight into the attack on Ivermectin in the forward of Kory’s book, stating:

“By the time COVID made landfall in America, my team at The HighWire was ready for it. We knew that the government’s regulatory agencies would push a vaccine because the agenda was obvious to us before it started. We knew that the media would supercharge the hysteria around the virus because that’s what they taught us to do when we worked in television. We knew they would try to force everyone into compliance because there is no other reason a cold virus with a death rate similar to the flu would be touted as the greatest medical calamity of our lifetime. We did not know that one of the cheapest and safest drugs in the world would so vividly expose the corruption that threatens the future of science and medicine today.
