The Non-Infectious Pandemic: The Spike Protein Puts The Body’s Natural Killer Cell To Sleep

COVID-19 and the dangerous mRNA jabs that did nothing to stop it are likely driving a global epidemic of terrifyingly aggressive cancers. While that assertion is not new, the latest declaration comes from esteemed physician Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, who has spent the past 30 years of his career pursuing treatments to find a cure for cancer. In a recent interview, he remarked that if the COVID jab is indeed a harbinger of cancer, does that explain why children as young as eight years old are being diagnosed with colon cancer? Given the dramatic rise in cancers since the pandemic, Dr. Soon-Shiong’s astute statements certainly deserve attention.

Who is Dr. Soon-Shiong? Besides being the owner of the Los Angeles Times and the San Diego Union-Tribune since 2018, throughout his career, Dr. Soon-Shiong has pioneered therapies for diabetes and cancer, published over 100 scientific papers, and has been granted over 675 patents worldwide for groundbreaking advancements spanning numerous fields of medicine, technology, and artificial intelligence. Importantly, Dr. Soon-Shiong harbors a grasp of the fundamental biology behind life-threatening diseases. He uses that understanding to share his insights into the alarming health crisis facing society following the experimental mRNA jabs.

In a discussion in late March 2025 with Dr. Drew about the COVID jabs (you can watch the entire 1 ½ hour interview here), Dr. Soon-Shiong posed the million-dollar question, “Why did we create a vaccine that does not clear the virus?” Great question. Dr. Drew took the inquiry a step further, asking, “Why did we create a vaccine that reproduces the most pathogenic component of the virus.” He added, “Why not the nucleo capsid, [or] who not the whole virus, why do we keep pushing on spike? It’s insane.” Framing the stance that essentially divided healthcare into the doctors who put the care of their patients first and the doctors bedazzled by the sway of Big Pharma, Dr. Soon-Shiong replied:

“You’re singing my tune. This is exactly what I’ve been saying since 2020. I’m not only worried about long COVID—I think I understand why we are getting long COVID. [But] your idea about spike—called spikeopathy—is the idea that the spike could come either from the vaccine or from the COVID virus itself. And if it comes from the vaccine, does it break off, and does it actually replicate? And if it replicates, does it persist? And if it persists and replicates in certain parts of tissue, does it reduce what they call P-53?

Is it then a harbinger of cancer? Is it going to act like hepatitis and HPV, God forbid, where in five years or 10 years from now, is it potentially the explanation why I am seeing eight-year-old, ten-year-old, and eleven-year-old [children] with colon cancer?”

Likewise, in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson (you can watch the entire 1 ½ hour interview here), Dr. Soon-Shion noted that besides the persistent rise in cancer rates despite decades of cancer research, the increase in certain types of cancers, like pancreatic, ovarian, and colon, in younger people is astounding. Also a surgeon, Dr. Soon-Shion characterized the rapid rise in cancer in the United States—which now includes children—as a non-infectious pandemic of cancer, including deadly turbo-charged cancers.

This fact is incredibly disturbing, especially when you consider that cancer is essentially an immune system issue. We humans always have defective cells in our bodies that could turn into cancer. But usually—thanks to our body’s incredible natural healing power—our immune system’s killer cells (T cells and NK cells) zap them and keep them in check. This is a fundamental balance that our amazing bodies rely upon. But when that balance gets thrown off—when those killer cells get suppressed or stop working effectively—that’s when the defective cells that exist within us can become cancer. So, what exactly is happening to sabotage our innate ability to fight these defective cells?

Dr. Soon-Shion shared with Tucker that he’s now getting reports that individuals whose cancers have been in remission are now getting back the cancers, and they are progressing very rapidly. He explained that if you really consider the root cause of cancer—something he discussed years ago with Sanjay Gupta on 60 Minutes—it’s not just about how quickly it grows. He argued that the actual issue is its inability to die. Cancer persists because it evades the body’s key defenders, like natural killer cells and T-cells. Dr. Soon-Shion shared that what worries him most is that the cancer, and even the body itself, seems to have found a way to suppress these natural killer cells that conquer cancer. Once that happens—once the suppressor cells kick in and you become immunosuppressed—there’s nothing to hold the cancer back. That’s when we witness this rapid, unchecked progression.

Indeed, it appears how we are treating cancer—which is an incredibly lucrative business—is all wrong. Dr. Soon-Shion chatted with Tucker about the most recommended ways we attempt to stop cancer: we radiate it, surgically remove it, remove the lymph nodes, and give chemotherapy. Likewise, we have now injected an experimental gene-altering “vaccine” that annihilates our immune system. He explained that these procedures are tipping the scales towards the suppressor cells—the ones helping cancer thrive. Instead of activating the killer cells inherently in our bodies programmed to destroy cancer, these treatments activate the suppressor cells.

With that in mind, we know that inflammation leads to disease, including cancer. Is inflammation behind the suppression of immune systems and the rapid increase in turbo cancers? Holding that thought, and noting that “a lot of people have pointed to both the COVID virus and to the mRNA COVID vaccines as potential causes,” Tucker asked Dr. Soon-Shion if he thinks they are related. Not surprisingly, he shared that he does. Dr. Soon-Shion explained that certain viruses, like hepatitis and HPV, are known to cause cancers such as liver and cervical cancer by persisting in the body, creating inflammation, and inhibiting the P53 protein that protects against cancer. These are called oncogenic viruses. Where does spikeopathy come into play? Dr. Soon-Shion explained:

“The hallmark of an oncogenic virus is it must persist. And why? Because it continues to create inflammation. And with inflammation, you get suppression. Because your body is trying to suppress, it must inhibit something called P53 (which acts as a tumor suppressor by monitoring the health of cells). If [the virus] persists and causes inflammation and inhibits P53, it begins to have the hallmarks of an oncogenic virus.

So then the question is, does the COVID virus—whether it comes from the vaccine, which is the spike protein vaccine, or from the infection, which is spike-driven—get into every cell of our body? It goes wherever there are ACE2 receptors, which are in the blood vessels. So, wherever you have a blood vessel in your body, that is where [the spike protein] is going to go. If there is an ACE2 receptor on that blood vessel, that’s where it will go because that’s the purpose of the spike protein—to penetrate and hijack that ACE2 receptor and get into the cells.

So that’s why it gets into the pancreas. That’s why you have brain fog—it disrupts the blood vessels of the brain and causes mitochondrial dysfunction. That is why in the colon, which is a high ACE2-receptor. That’s why the pancreas is the receptor. That’s why you see young people have sudden heart attacks. You see young people with pancreatic cancer all of a sudden. You see young people’s colon cancer all of a sudden.

So, is it by coincidence that post-COVID infection, post-COVID vaccine, we’re seeing all these events where we know the spike protein goes there? I don’t think so. I think it’s not a coincidence.”

Remember, the COVID-19 virus is not clearing the body. The only way to do that is with a T cell and an NK cell—the cells that kill cancer. Yet, that is not happening. Dr. Soon-Shion explained that COVID is like cancer, and cancer is like COVID in that immune suppression causes the spread, and the immunosuppression from the spike protein allows the virus to persist. The dangerous COVID jab does nothing to clear the virus. Even worse, Dr. Soon-Shion explained that NIH’s Francis Collins and Anthony Fauci knew the spike jabs from Pfizer and Moderna did not clear the virus, allowing pieces of the virus to remain, especially spike—whether from the infection or the mRNA jab—and when you get another infection, that virus brings along a nucleocapsid, which reconjoins and replicates again. And two years later, here we are—the spike from the virus and from the mRNA COVID jabs both pave the way for cancer because both suppress the immune system, bringing in millions of new patient customers to serve as test subjects for the new mRNA cancer jabs, which are, of course, waiting in the wings.
