I’ve got push back a little on John’s perspective on testosterone and estrogen. Women aren’t becoming testosterone dominant they are infact estrogen dominant. There is plenty of now that our water, food and products are laden with estrogen mimicking compounds whether phytoestrogens in our food or xenoestrogens in our personal products etc. he is right on the money with the effects of cortisol but he’s wrong that estrogen is the remedy for it. Unchallenged estrogen from testosterone or progesterone is a problem. Cut out the soy and flax and our boys and girls will thrive
I wasn’t going to answer, but you know more than this professional? I agree that there’s all kinds of undesirable stuff in our foods, including hormones, but I’d really like to know your credentials when you say this man is wrong. I’m not saying he has to be correct, as he doesn’t have a medical degree, but he is a counselor and I’m sure his books come our of his many years of counselling.
