Is it bad that I live in Australia and have never even heard of this Topher guy until now? Then again I live in South Australia, and none of this extreme crap happened here. In fact the first time they tried to do a lockdown here people ignored it and called into radio stations and news agencies and basically told them to stick it where the sun don’t shine, and nobody complied with it. And it was lifted the next day, lasted about 8 hours lol. The second time only lasted for 3 days and again people simply said no. In regards to the shortages that did happen, they were 100% not because of panic buying. I live on the street where ALL of the delivery trucks go down to get to the local shopping center, and I noticed that there were fewer trucks delivering the goods, and I spoke to one worker at the local Aldi and they told me that the reason they didn’t have toilet paper is because they were not getting any delivered, and another worker at my local Woolworths told me that their deliveries went from every 3 hours to twice a day. So the shortages where because lack of goods being delivered NOT panic buying. Also My husband and I went even further during this time and NEVER wore a mask. One lady at Woolworths complained to a worker that we weren’t wearing masks and the worker simply said, “they have exemptions.” Whenever someone tried to tell me I needed to wear a mask I said, “I have and exemption, it’s called saying no.” I brag now that I didn’t participate in covid, and I will never participate in any other fakedemic in the future.
