MEDICAL FREEDOM MAKES HISTORY
Comments
Medical freedom made history this week with the very first inaugural ball dedicated to the movement. Many of the OG’s of the medical freedom movement, as well as a who’s who of health and wellness were in attendance at the MAHA Inaugural Ball, held at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C.

We need medical freedom in CO. They are stripping patient right to choose and practitioner free speech.
Please, ICAN help us oppose HB25-1220. Colorado has recently enacted a policy that restricts any healthcare practitioner—aside from a Registered Dietitian (RD)—from providing personalized nutrition advice. This decision is not only an attack on free speech but also an attempt to monopolize nutritional counseling under a single licensing body that promotes a Western, often pharmaceutical-aligned approach to healthcare. It effectively strips qualified practitioners in holistic, integrative, and functional medicine from practicing according to their expertise.
As a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with additional training in functional medicine, I have seen firsthand the critical role that individualized nutrition plays in patient health. Many of us, including naturopaths, chiropractors, and other holistic providers, have extensive training in nutrition that often surpasses that of RDs—yet we are being silenced. This is part of a larger agenda to indoctrinate practitioners into a Western medical paradigm and suppress non-allopathic, patient-centered care.
This policy does not protect public health; it limits freedom of choice and forces patients into a narrow, state-approved model of nutrition that often excludes holistic dietary principles. It is a blatant attempt to regulate out of existence any approach that does not align with the pharmaceutical-driven medical system.
Given ICAN’s commitment to challenging medical authoritarianism and defending informed consent, I wanted to bring this issue to your attention and explore whether there may be legal grounds to fight back. If this case aligns with ICAN’s mission, I would welcome the opportunity to collaborate and assist in any way possible to protect our right to practice and to ensure that patients have access to truly informed healthcare.
