Zen, Sadly we all have DDT (as the metabolite DDE) in our bloodstream according to the CDC 99% of Americans have detectable DDE in their blood. And, because Ben was your firstborne he received DDE via placental transfer- this is published in the medical literature. Yes DDT has been found in imported non-organic fruits and vegetables but the majority of the exposure is from the maternal line (incl. grandmother’s exposure) thank you by the way and so very sorry for the loss of your son
Zen, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know the pain from a suicide and, even though we get on with our lives, it is something we carry for a lifetime. Losing a child is a mother’s worst nightmare. Sincere best wishes that the love you shared with Ben will see you through difficult times.
You are a brave and caring woman. Thank you, and Moms Across America, for all that you do to try to make our children and our country a more healthy, safe, and beautiful place. We cannot achieve the goals of MAHA without a healthy environment. At another time, perhaps you will share your opinion on the contradiction of President Trump supporting part of MAHA while rolling back environmental protections. Thank you.
