  1. I like this gal, I started listening right when she said “why do your kids need to know math and science”. I got a huge grin on my face because I got a flashback of an argument I had with my ninth grade math teacher about why I was never going to need algebra.

My mother was one of the smartest people I have ever known in my life, and she had a sixth grade education and was smarter than most college kids today, specially without their smartphones. Take that smartphone away and you end up with someone who can’t read and write or do simple math.

    Homeschooling is a great idea.

  2. I worked with your husband on Andromeda in Vancouver as a lighting technician. I wish I had known what a great man he was and what a lovely family he had. I wish both of you the best n life, God Bless.

  3. THE AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL REPORTS: COVID-19 AND CARE HOMES.

The report on the United Kingdom. A passage from the report:

Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on older persons living in care homes in England. 28,186 “excess deaths” were recorded in care homes in England between 2 March and 12 June, with over 18,500 care home residents confirmed to have died with Covid-19 during this period. UK government decisions and failures resulted in violations of the human rights of people living in care homes, notably the right to life, to health and to non-discrimination. From discharging 25,000 patients, including those infected, into care homes; to denying care homes residents admission to hospital and imposing “do not attempt resuscitation” orders on them without due process, to failing to provide PPE (personal protective equipment) and testing to care homes. Older persons living in care homes were abandoned to die.

I guess; “people in care homes had their right to life violated”, sounds better than; “people in care homes were murdered,” but it is less accurate.

THE ELDERLY PEOPLE IN CARE HOMES WERE MURDERED.

  4. Most people confuse indoctrination with education. Education is something you do yourself. The only thing needed to be educated is how. The Trivium is the basis of education: Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric in that order. The 5 Ws: Who, What, Where, When – Grammar Aspect; Why – Logic Aspect; How – is the rhetoric aspect.
Then comes the Quadrivium: Mathematics, Geometry, Music, Astrology in that order. So to answer this half baked woman, yes math and science is needed. Without math, the mastery of numbers, you are a basic idiot incapable of supporting yourself. Without science, one does not learn how to use logic to come to problem resolution.
But none of this needs a school environment, just parent and associated people that can lead them to the correct path.

  5. Can HW organize/categorize its vids better? You have 15 different categories under -Explore- and several of them are redundant. It makes certain vids very hard to find.

  6. As the world becomes more interconnected and diverse, the need for individuals to embrace and appreciate cultural diversity becomes increasingly important. From the perspectives of both individual growth and global relations, an appreciation of different cultures is essential. This essay https://juicepedalernyc.com/2019/10/29/writing-a-proper-cultural-diversity-essay/ will explore the importance of cultural diversity and discuss how it can be embraced and celebrated in order to foster a greater understanding and respect for all people.
