Under new relaxed guidance from the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, statins are now to be given out freely to an estimated 15M extra people. Top NHS-trained cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra was recently invited onto the BBC to discuss the increased cardiovascular events seen during the Covid response. His pivot to mRNA Covid jabs being a source of both increased cardiovascular events along with excess deaths took some by surprise. Yet, in the search for answers, evidence has show that it hasn’t been a statin deficiency that has led to an increase in coronary artery disease during the pandemic years.
