Amazing how they are not involved hands on, they are just "information sharers" and people who "get people/groups to work together".

You gather the funds in mass, keep a bunch of the donations for yourself because you and your friends are high paid consultants, CEO's, etc. in your comfy offices. And then you throw significant money at leaders of other organisations if they'll work with who you dictate and then the end community gets the leftovers.
It's great incentive to push for higher and higher donations.
