Really appreciated this conversation! This shed light on a topic that is pretty much taboo in our society.

Parasites are still dismissed far too often unless someone has a clear travel history or obvious GI symptoms, and that misses a lot of what patients actually present with.

I see this all too often in my patients with more complex environmental and infectious burdens (e.g., parasites, mold, and Lyme/co-infections). Most have been dismissed or even medically gaslit after being told their symptoms are unrelated, stress-driven, or insignificant because routine testing was negative.
Or they receive repeated rounds of antibiotics without any regard for other already compromised systems, like the gut, liver, and immune system.

I see quite a bit of overlap between Candida, biofilms, and heavy metal burden.
