Is part of the injury frontal lobe, like in the elderly with aphasia? Our daughter was brain injured by a TBI / hit by car. She can speak some but is more inclined to sign the letters she learned as a child one summer at the public library. Is it possible that the brain injured kids who do not speak and do well with the letter board also could sign?
