Ozempic has horrific side effects….also you’re losing primarily muscle, not fat. And when you stop, the weight comes roaring back. The fact that they want this to be a treatment for obesity in children is total insanity! How about NUTRITION, EXERCISE.?!
Also, my above post is info from Dr Peter Attia
We’re supposed to be hungry. It’s a part of life. It’s abnormal to not be hungry. “They make you feel full” In other words the drug lies to you. This is just so wrong. If you have diabetes, fine, but to take it for any other reason, it’s just plain wrong. Is this what’s driving up the cost of diabetic drugs?
MAOs are commonly used in treatment of depression. To use them for weight loss is nuts. Of course using them for depression is also nuts. They can cause the very thing they’re supposed to treat and interact with other psych meds. I would urge people that if they wouldn’t take an antidepressant not to take this drug either. It’s in exactly the same class.
