  35. I am a Catholic. True Catholics do not follow certain priests, bishops, or the pope. We follow Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church. We are ALL sinners, including the priests, bishops, and pope. The Catholic Church is a hospital for sinners, not for the perfect. Just because there are bad leaders in the Catholic Church does not mean I’m going to leave it. It just means that the leaders of the Church are sinners and aren’t following the teachings of the Church. But, I’m not a Catholic because of a priest, bishop, or pope. I’m Catholic because of Jesus Christ and I follow Him and His Church.
