Federal Government: Using Twitter to Manipulate COVID Narrative
Updated
Social media censorship by the United States government is a serious threat to a free republic. In the same far-reaching way in which the Biden administration rigged the conversation surrounding the dangerous and deadly experimental COVID-19 injections, it also went to great lengths to collude with social media platforms, in this case, Twitter, to silence—and attempt to destroy—any and all experts who shared knowledge of their danger. And now, following Elon Musk’s release of the Twitter files, which expose the unconstitutional plan in great detail, the architects behind the COVID narrative are using their allies in the Pfizer-controlled mainstream media to either completely ignore or censor yet again the enormous revelations and write them as nothing more than an irrelevant dispute between Democrats and Republicans. In reality, Twitter’s inappropriate silencing of domestic speech implicates numerous branches of the Biden administration, including the FBI, CDC, NSA, DHS, and the CIA. Americans deserve better, and credibility can only be restored once the American people see the truth behind the curtain.
To get to the bottom of this urgent Constitutional crisis, on February 8, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability held a hearing titled “Protecting Speech from Government Interference and Social Media Bias, Part 1: Twitter’s Role in Suppressing the Biden Laptop Story.” Notably, Twitter’s federal government-directed censorship of the New York Post’s now proven credible story on the damaging content in Hunter Biden’s laptop surely affected public opinion ahead of the election. Under Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better,” “Great Reset” approach to leadership, we are living with the devastating results of that “on-demand,” government-directed censorship now. And equally if not more significant, Twitter’s same censorship of the esteemed and credentialed experts who spoke up against the authoritarian COVID-19 protocols and untested mRNA vaccines has undoubtedly resulted in the avoidable loss of thousands of lives. We will live with the devastating consequences of that censorship for generations to come.
Three former high-ranking Twitter officials, each yielding enormous unchecked power in suppressing Constitutional speech, thus illegally shaping the discussion around COVID-19, joined the Committee’s first meeting: Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s former top lawyer; James Baker, Twitter’s former Deputy General Counsel; and Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former Head of Trust and Safety. Anika Collier Navaroli, a former member of Twitter’s U.S. Safety Policy Team, also joined the meeting.
As the hearing got underway, Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) emphasized how, before Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter and his pledge to end its censorship, the federal government used Twitter to violate the First Amendment and suppress free speech. Tellingly, before the New York Post had reported on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, the FBI advised Twitter executives to question the validity of any Hunter Biden story that might surface. We now know that the government’s collusion and censorship went way past suppressing the Biden Laptop story. Indeed, the debauchery at the direction of the federal government intently and aggressively silenced any elected official, activist, journalist, professor, scientist, or doctor who didn’t strictly conform to the draconian narrative surrounding COVID-19.
Following the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability’s hearing on February 8, the Judiciary Committee held its first House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on February 9, led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who noted a whistleblower defined the FBI as being “rotted at its core.” On February 8, in a letter to the DOJ, Jordan requested that all Big Tech censorship documents identified in the groundbreaking case Missouri v. Biden, which include communications between Executive Branch officials and employees of social media companies, including Twitter, be delivered to him by 5:00 p.m. on February 22. Importantly, with more to come, both Committee hearings highlight the federal government’s enormous role in pressuring Twitter and other platforms to censor information around issues not serving its agenda, including COVID-19.
As the pandemic got underway, in an effort to support Dr. Anthony Fauci and his authoritarian pandemic lockdown policies (and to an even greater extent, to support the mission of Bill Gates, the WEF, and so on), Twitter promptly suppressed non-regime-compliant accounts and initiated a “search blacklist” for them to “prevent disfavored tweets from trending” as well as “actively limit the visibility of entire accounts or even trending topics.” Swiftly, Twitter censored Harvard Medical School Professor, epidemiologist and biostatistician Dr. Martin Kulldorff who openly shared his professional views on lockdowns, opening schools, masking, the power of natural immunity, and vaccine passports. Dr. Kulldorff correctly likened Fauci’s careless denial of natural immunity to “the nation’s lead astronomer questioning whether the earth was flat.”
In the midst of an unprecedented pandemic, silencing a professional as knowledgeable and experienced as Dr. Kulldorff made absolutely no sense—unless, of course, something nefarious is driving the agenda. Simply, the extensive list of esteemed experts silenced by Twitter is mind-boggling. For example, a professor at Harvard Medical School for many years, Dr. Kulldorff, has studied infectious diseases for over two decades. He was a member of the FDA’s Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committee and a former consultant for the CDC. In 2020, along with Oxford University’s Dr. Sunetra Gupta and Stanford University Medical School’s Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Kulldorff co-authored the Great Barrington Declaration (GBD), a document that discourages the use of society-wide lockdowns for COVID-19 and instead advocates for a strategy of focused protection for high-risk people. The declaration states, “As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists, we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.”
Realizing the “collateral damage” our children suffered from lockdowns and the life-altering vaccine injuries suffered by Americans like Rep. Nancy Mace, the online canceling of Harvard and Stanford MDs like Kulldorff and Bhattacharya is criminal. The catastrophes rising from the silencing of medical experts who disagree with the regime could have been avoided or dealt with sooner had the federal government not been allowed to use social media—America’s town hall—to carelessly push its agenda. While the curtain isn’t yet fully open, we know former Biden pandemic task force leader Andy Slavitt met with Twitter and Facebook, pressuring them to step up efforts to restrict what the task force considered “COVID misinformation.” We know Twitter made censorship decisions “on the fly,” often not following the company’s publicly stated policies. We know the U.S. government pressured Twitter to elevate certain COVID-19 content and suppress that which didn’t follow the narrative. We know Twitter “worked hand in hand with the FBI to monitor the protected speech of Americans—and received millions of dollars to do so.” We know a central focus of the Biden administration was to silence “anti-vaxxer accounts.”
We also know that when asked in a court-ordered deposition to elaborate on his agency’s suppressive tactics around COVID censorship and the Trump White House’s interest in listening to GBD scientists Kulldorff, Bhattacharya, and Gupta—who recommended a “strong reinforcement of the Trump administration’s strategy of aggressively protecting the vulnerable while opening schools and the workplace”—Dr. Fauci evasively declared, “I don’t know” 174 times. Indeed, contrary to Fauci’s “mask everyone and lock them inside” strategy, the GBD’s proposed Focus Protection strategy supported what had been Trump’s policy for months, and Fauci wasn’t keen on it. The same Focus Protection policy was implemented by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in late September 2020 and has been hugely successful.
In bombshell detail, Fauci’s deposition in the highly significant Missouri v. Biden lawsuit underscores the manipulation of the COVID narrative—and social media’s critical role—as early as February 2020 when concerns were being raised on social media platforms about the origins of COVID. Fauci, whose daughter was a software engineer at Twitter during the early days of the pandemic, repeatedly denied involvement in taking down the GBD, noting instead, “I have a very important day job that is running a $6.4 billion institute. I would not be involved in examining [anti-lock down content on Twitter] and doing something that would quote counter it.” Provably false, original emails show that Fauci and former NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins jumped into action to smear and discredit the GBD in the mainstream media. They went directly to the national press, labeling its authors, Martin Kulldorff, Sunetra Gupta, and Jay Bhattacharya, as “fringe epidemiologists” and branding the Declaration itself as “nonsense,” in Dr. Fauci’s words.
Undoubtedly, squashing the GBD and ensuring lockdowns and fear remained front and center helped set the stage for the vaccine rollout and was made possible in part due to the federal government’s collusion with Big Tech. Then, once the government’s COVID-19 “vaccinate-everyone” campaign got underway, Laura Culbertson, Twitter’s Head of U.S. Public Policy, wrote that the Biden team was “very angry” that Twitter had not been more aggressive in de-platforming multiple accounts and wanted Twitter to do more. With that in mind, Twitter suppressed the views of many—including well-respected doctors and experts like Naomi Wolf—that conflicted with the official positions of the White House regarding its unsupported claim that the COVID jab was “safe and effective.”
As a result, legitimate findings and questions that would have expanded the public debate, like the real-life damaging effects following mRNA jabs as witnessed by countless doctors, went missing. Indeed, Naomi Wolf, who warned of menstrual harms following mRNA injection, was labeled crazy and unhinged. But, as it turns out, many of her biggest concerns have been validated. The illegal and broad censorship of numerous experts during a public health emergency has led to a growing list of catastrophes that could have been avoided or dealt with sooner had the federal government not used Twitter—America’s town hall—and other major social media platforms to silence those not following its grand experiment in controlling American citizens and the implementation of its massive, and long-anticipated mRNA vaccine clinical trial.
