Re. copyright

I’ve heard Glenn Beck complain about this, that his production co. was not able to run footage of Biden’s presidential campaign, because the campaign claimed copyright over every campaign appearance, and the licensing for it was too high for his production budget. He said this was a problem for freedom of the press. Seems like a constitutional issue should be raised by somebody re. that, because campaign appearances should be public domain. To claim a property right over it just doesn’t fit with an election.
