Having to admit the link between mRNA-based Covid vaccine and heart inflammation is stronger than previously thought, the The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) set an emergency meeting for Friday.

Now, the ‘emergency’ Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) committee has announced that it has cancelled that emergency meeting. The ACIP website was updated Thursday with the following message:

“The June 18, 2021 COVID-19 meeting is being rescheduled due to the observation of the Juneteenth National Independence Day holiday. The discussion will be rescheduled to be included as part of the June 23-25 ACIP meeting.”

The meeting was set to discuss the mounting causes of myocarditis, a potentially severe heart inflammation increasingly being seen in teenagers and young adults after mRNA-based Covid vaccinations from Pfizer and Moderna.

The move has left many stunned as the myocarditis issue at hand had been considered an ‘emergency’ by both the CDC and ACIP in the United States. Yet the agency and its advisory committee will now allow five extra days to come between a meeting to discuss an urgent scientific and public health emergency being shouldered by America’s youth.

Last week the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPA) failed to reach a decision on vaccinating kids under 12 partly due to the serious myocarditis signals appearing in young children after vaccination.

Dr. Cody Messiner, VRBPA committee member and director of pediatric infectious diseases at Tufts Medical Center, urged a halt to an already reckless and unscientific vaccine rollout among the youth stating, “I’m worried about myocarditis.” He continued regarding the postivve test results indicating heart inflammation in children saying, “We don’t know what that means on a longterm basis. Will there be scaring of the myocardium? Will there be a predisposition to arrhythmias later on? Will there be an early onset of heart failure?”

Israel was the first country to fully rollout Pfizer’s mRNA shot across its population and has now released the first extensive study linking rare cases of heart inflammation to COVID-19 vaccination. The researchers looking at the data concluded that somewhere between 1 in 3000 and 1 in 6000 men ages 16 to 24 who received the shot developed myocarditis. Reporting on the results, ScienceMag.com writes:

Ninety percent of the cases picked up in Israel appeared in men, and although myocarditis is normally more common among young men, the rate among those vaccinated was somewhere between five and 25 times the background rate…”

Adding more urgency to the matter, the U.K.’S Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has just pulled back the reigns by not giving its recommendation to  vaccinate those under 18.

While U.S. vaccination sites continue to inject both Pfizer and Moderna’s shot into American arms, an unknown specter of myocarditis cases mount. Each day in which the U.S. kicks the can down the road to delay convening to discuss such an urgent public health matter, the primer agency purporting to fight vaccine hesitancy, the CDC, has now become a main driver of it.
